Mr. Kehoe, a second grade teacher at Stony Brook Elementary, leads second and third graders in song. The residents loved it and they've been invited back! ("Puff, the Magic Dragon" was a huge hit.)

Almost every day at NYA Summer Program includes a trip to beautiful Long Pond. The kids cool off, chill out, dig tunnels, talk to the seagulls and swim with the fishies. Aaaaaaah!

NYA at the Multicultural Fair NYA at the Multicultural Fair
On Saturday, March 5, Nauset Youth Alliance participated in the Multicultural Fair at Cape Cod Community College. African masks made by the children in Katherine Birungi's enrichment program, along with artwork donated by Dr. Margaret Hand, were prominently displayed and were very favorably received. A few of our children also performed an African dance routine, instructed by Ms. Birungi, during the fair's opening ceremony. It was a wonderful experience for all who participated!

African Dance & Performance - a 3 week long enrichment class was taught by Katherine Birungi. Students from the Eddy School learned traditional African dances and prepared costumes. The culmination was a performance at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.
